    Her foot looks so much better the next day. And this morning she seemed to not be limping as much. I soaked her foot in Epson salt and put some peroxide on it and it looks like there’s a scab on it and it’s healing. I will continue to keep a close eye on her.

    Injury/infection not sure what happened need help

    One of my newest girls, five months old, has an injury. Her foot looks infected. She is limping and not putting weight on it. I’ve never encountered anything like this, and I’m not sure what to do. Any advice will be much appreciated.

    I’m a new member, one year into raising egg laying chickens. I joined to learn and gain wisdom from experienced individuals. I live on a small 2 acre Homestead, with two dogs and 24 chickens.
