my sweet Olive Egger lays light brown eggs which is fine but I was very careful with my mix of chickens, which include a Buff Orpington. So I get one white, one very dark brown (Black Copper Marans), one blue and two light brown. I really wanted that green egg! Oh well. They are terrific layers...
