    UPDATE: 2 weeks later for 4 1/2 week Cochins -- Lots of pics!

    As far as I know! I was just looking at a new cochin thread, and folks are voting pullet for one that looks just like my buff roo. my pullet at 16 weeks still has no red on her face at all. i'm still holding out on my blue though! i'm getting rid of the partridge ones!

    definitely a roo. i have two that are exactly that age, and the roo looks just like that. the pullet has no red on her face whatsoever. i have a splash cochin that i was holding out hope on, and he's a he too! so disappointing. out of 11 cochin chicks, i got 10 roos!!

    Thanks y'all. I'm going to wait it out. I got so many Cochins just in case I got a lot of roos, so it's okay if I've got some! I will still try to keep some of the nice ones. My current Welsummer rooster is headed for the pot -- he keeps flogging me!
