Flight pens are the best thing as a breeder or raiser to have for bob whites,ringnecks,chuckars...with a 12-14 foot netting height...they have no reason to go breaking their necks when they are startled.Which will happen sense its part of their instinct.

chick starter will be fine ...but i would get some game bird starter when your able :) i grow alfa sprouts to maintain their diet after 3 weeks of age easy to grow and 35% natural protein :)

I been raising all sorts of quail for 30 yrs.I tried to help many on here at times,but then you get ppl that come in place their 2 cents thats raised a few yrs an think someone doing it for 30 odd years is not doing it right? come on i had quail before most was born or off breast milk. I watch...

I was a active member on the quail at one time but i seen to many ppl being (newbies & oldies) being torn apart No way to act. Those ppl have chased many off.I rarely come in anymore found other places to get information.

Actually i do believe you think to highly of this so called quail war when in prospect , You have issues with the quail influences that stand outside of your circle,But i will say this your determined.Even the older members here are seeing issues with these tactics.Your loud when you speak but...

i do not go over 8 days i have tried many times from 4 days to 6 days my hatch rates was better at 8 days of age..i even tried 12 days fertility hit 50% decrease i went back to 8 days..
