I also agree with everyone else - they should never be left alone together unsupervised.
Bring the doe the bucks cage and watch. Let him get her about 2 - 3 times and you can take her out. If you want you can put her back in a few hours later. I just do it once and get large litters.

I let mine free roam all the time. Some nights they would come back to the barn, some nights they would sleep outside. They always stuck around though.
The hens even hatched chicks, and at two days old they were out free roaming and swimming!
One of my coturnix quail layed a HUGE egg. Looks almost double the size it should be, but doesnt look double yolk. Its shaped and looks the same as the smaller eggs normally layed but its just huge!!
