I've got a broody and I'd take 6 if you can send right away (not the refrigerated ones, right? <grin>. Any chance you can send out tomorrow (Saturday)? I'll pay you through paypal tonight. --Robyn
I'd love to add a few pink egg layers to my backyard flock. I've got a broody hen, so time is of the essence. If you have around 6 eggs from pinky layers, please let me know what you'd like for them. Thanks.
I have a broody buff orpington and I'd like to get eggs under her asap. I know they aren't very sexy, but my preference is to add some cinnamon queens (Silver Laced Wyandotte x New Hampshire) to my flock for reliable egg production. Anybody got 6 of those? If so, how much, and when can you...
Hi from Scandia, about 15 miles north of Stillwater.
We have some surprise chicks -- Salmon Faverolle x Buff Cochin. The Faverolle laid eggs behind a bush (but didn't set) and since we had a very broody Cuckoo Maran hen, we gave her the eggs to hatch. She did a fab job and we now have 5...
I can send you some buff cochin mutts if you want. Very feathery feet, standard size though. Buff cochin over americana, black australorp, buff orpington, blue andalusian, gold laced wyandotte, speckled sussex, etc. $7 plus shipping.

What say you, more...
I'd love it this. May 9 is tough for me, though. Would May 2 or May 10 be possibilities? If not, I'll still try to get there. I really appreciate you organizing and hosting!
I have a blue heeler, and she is very motion-activated. Chickens moving slowly...okay. Chickens startled by curious dog...shriek-barking and lunging chaos!
Blue heelers are bred to herd. Some have very strong prey drive. Virtually all of them I've met are challenging (though rewarding) dogs...
I'm sorry you lost a chicken. Some predators like mink get chickens at the neck and just break them sometimes, so obvious marks or blood might not show. And they might not carry off the chicken either. Not sure how exposed she was to predators, though.
It's awful to find a dead chicken. I'm sorry. We just found a dead chicken in the coop this morning. As it is the third in 6 months (all hens about a year old), I decided to take her for a necropsy to make sure this wasn't something that was affecting my whole flock.
The vet pathologist told...
