I have a friend that acquired 3 5-month old orpingtons back in September. He assumed they would start laying but they have not. He's feeding them laying mash and they are in a very nice backyard and coop - no dogs bothering them. Does anyone know why they wouldn't be laying?? Thanks in advance.
