This is our first chick we have ever hatched so we still have a lot of questions.

I actually had some ACV with the mother in it. I've never seen it in the regular store but I got mine at the health food store.
The chick is still hobbling around...
There is one egg left but I believe it is a dud. We had 4 eggs and the one that hatched was the only one we ever saw move.
I put a stuffed animal in and added sugar to the chicks water. It's stomach also looks much better and I guess is closing up. You see more fur then anything.

This has definitely been a learning experience for my hubby and I. We already have full-grown hens (3) and 1 rooster that we raised from chicks. We also have a miniature horse. We never hatched before. My husband built an incubator for these eggs weeks ago.

The little chick finally is hatched. We had to help him a little here and there. He has been chirping a lot. He is still tired. When it came out you could see the placenta was still attached to the egg shell. You can still see it around the stomach too. I hope that makes sense. I email...

The chick is chirping somewhat intermittently and is moving it's beak and body a bit.
