No we hatched her here in our home, so all she is on is medicated feed. she appears to be moving up in the healthy department, faster stronger happy little chick
Good to hear your chick is easing. Again I think the oil is the key. I use just the olive oil, and she is (fingers crossed) fit free and sleeps well she races about fending for treats and drinks plenty and eats plenty too.

That is exactly how my chick was behaving. (doesn't have the sores ((yet))) hopefully not. Have you noticed any change or figured out what is causing it?
I can't see any mites or lice that I can tell. And cant imagine how there'd be any. they've been indoors since the start. she seems to be scratching her ears, then completely flipping out and ending up on her back scrathing at her neck. She peeps and peeps, scratching, then rests awhile head...
