    Thanks for all the help. I did see the "sticky" after I posted. UPDATE: Still no eggs. But, when we let the girls out this afternoon, one did start to nest in the wood chips I have in the garden. Maybe that's just what they're used to? I got some more and put it in their nesting boxes tonight...

    12 months old. I also added a hard-boiled egg to each nest.

    I finished my coop and became a new chicken owner. Got 12-month old chickens off craigslist, this was Saturday. As of today, I still have not seen an egg? Are they stressed from the move, not familiar with the territory, or are my nesting boxes not right? The nesting boxes are about 12" x 12"...
