    What's the best feed?

    Kaytee baymore or Browns pigeon feed are probly the best brand names. I use the mix from my local feed mill. It has 3 typs of peas,pop corn,wheat,buck wheat,mittet,milio and sallflower. It dosent cost a fourtune either,just $19.75 a bag. Thanks

    The loft that the picas are kept in is sourounded by gigantic red oak trees. The picas will always head for the trees if they spot a hawk. The thing about rollers is that when they are chased of by a hawk,they cant find their way back home. My picas have allways come back after a hawk chase. One...

    Have you looked at any other breeds to keep? I raise picas,a spanish pouter. I have raised them for three years and have only lost one bird. They are realy good at out running hawks. Horseman theif pouters are good fliers to. Stupid Hawks!! Thanks

    Yes, they are west of england tumblers. I would feed them a mix of wild bird food and game birds pellets for now. Looks like a red grizzle and a blue grizzle. If you decide to start breeding pigeons I would buy a premix pigeon feed. If you have any more ?s just let us know. I am sure one of us...
