I would say all roos. First one is a little questionable but the chipmunk stripe isn’t solid all the way and the overall lighter coloring make me think roo.
Close to 7 weeks now. Still think both are Cream Legbars due to the crests and sure one is female but curious if the second one is possible a male due to the smaller crest and its color:
Not sure if it is a Legbar but can’t rule it out due to not having a crest yet. My legbars didn’t get their crests until about 5 to 6 weeks. A few even then were very small crests.
One of my legbars at a little over a week and at 5 weeks when she first got her crest. Popped up literally overnight!
I agree that the last one is more than likely a male Legbar. Just started getting into Legbars though, so just a guess from the male Legbars I have seen so far.
Keep us posted as I have a post guessing if two of mine are truly Legbars or not.
Here are some updated pics. Thinking the fuzz may still be a beard but does seem to get less and less each week as the fuzz/down disappears. She? is also almost twice the size of the other chicks of the same age although they are a different breed.
Maybe a beardless Ameraucana or EE?
Updated pictures now that they both are a little over 4 weeks old.
I am certain one is Cream Legbar (1st two pics) and is developing an adorable little crest, but still on the fence on the other since not seeing a crest yet. Also coloring is different.
Thoughts on the other one?
Unfortunately I don't. I asked but never got an answer. According to the paperwork they showed me they were "marked" as Cream Legbars but I knew that wasn't correct. But I loved the lavender color of the chick and got her? along with the others I had ordered.
Ordered Cream Legbars but the place I bought them from said all their chicks were mixed together on delivery. I did my best to discern what were the actual Cream Legbars. What are everyone’s thoughts?
It has been a hot summer here in Florida but it has cooled down nicely over the last few weeks. Hopefully, they will start soon. I am getting worried about diseases or mites, etc. Never had that problem before though.
