I have a great dane/pit bull cross that I love to pieces. Very sweet and beautiful dogs. Hades is shorter and stockier (but still pretty dang massive) because of the cross, but I'm hoping he'll have less problems because of the mix.
I'm having a hard time finding any of these in my area! If anyone has babies/hatching eggs (prefferably local), I would love to buy some!
Khaki Campbell ducklings/eggs
Silver Polish (boyfriend wants some flashy girls for our yard
Buff Brahmas... but light would be fine too.

If it's loose hanging, my bet would be dislocation.
Now as to how to fix dislocation? I have no clue
I would keep her as comfortable as possible, which it sounds like you're doing, and hopefully someone here has experience w/ dislocation! We recently had a tom turkey that broke his leg...
I never thought about arthritis in ducks, but I did recently read a journal of someone who has three and her solution for the duck...
duck-beds! (her duck had problems getting up in the mornings after sleeping w/ splayed legs)
Needless to say, those pictures stuck w/ me :-D
anywho...
oooouch.
Without seeing her and moving her around, the leg looks either broken or dislocated from the joint. If it's broken high up like that, I don't know if you can splint it.
Can she not stand? Does the leg hang loosely when you pick her up, kinda rag-doll like?
Poor girl
I didn't know mollies could live in slightly-salty water! At the moment, in the spare tank I have rummy-nosed tetras, cherry shrimp, and creamsicle mollies. My fish population got cut down by ick a while back, and I haven't replaced any yet.
Are there any good tankmates for puffers? Or should...
I don't know how many of you have aquariums, or more specifically, experience with my new found love. Sorry if this gets a bit long, but this is the story...
I have a 30 gal freshwater aquarium that I got for christmas. It is now heavily planted, but only has a few fish and a very cute cherry...
Jean Auel.... crap, I don't know if I spelled her name right.
Anyways, she wrote the "Earth's Children" series about a chick living in the ice age.
Also, J.K. Rowling. I don't care that it's a kids book. It's fantastic, lol.
And for weird, dramatic grocery-store type novels, V.C. Andrews. I...
Oh, the loathing I have for coyotes....
Here in So Cal, we've actually had two coyote attacks (seperate places) on children in broad daylight. Very unsettling. Needless to say, lots of guys with guns. Hopefully it will deter the population a bit.
We've lost many cats to coyotes in the past 5...
Awww! I'm so sorry for your loss.... the only thing you can really do, it sounds like you had already done. Wrap them up, maybe put them on a heating pad (set on low) in a quiet place, and let them come out of shock... I'm sorry for your loss.
Thanks everyone. I think I will go the live-animal trap route.... I recently caught a whole family of skunks under my office at work w/ one of those traps. Very handy. I think it's an possum... my mom has been seeing them out in the mornings, while it's light outside. This may have happened...
LMAO, spottedcrow, I must must must see pictures.
I think my boyfriend would disown me if I had my girls in the house
starshrike, my opinion is -cough-doitanyways-cough-
but then again, I'm a rebel.
To my knowledge, we don't have any minks/weasels where I live... I'm not 100% positive on that, but I don't think we do.
I just don't know what could have got her. A dog, maybe... but there's a wood fence all the way around. There's only one small place a dog could have got in...and it would...
I didn't think I'd have to post twice in this forum in the same day... ugh.
Boyfriend came home to a dead Light Brahma pullet. The pullet was nearly full-sized, so she was a big bird... I don't know if it could have been a hawk. Basically, breast area was ripped open but the pullet wasn't...
