Hello, everyone. My name is John and while I do not have an incubator at this time, I insisted on getting a Black Copper Marans rooster (Roscoe) to go along with our hens and my wife lives in terror of an incubator "appearing" at our house. Can someone talk me out of this?

My son and I are well along in the coop construction and the run comes next. Thanks for all of the suggestions and advice. I think I may try the flat approach as we have well-established trees nearby and cutting roots ain't my idea of fun. I gave that up when I left the Infantry!
