    Has anyone heard or ever put sulfur in water for a sick chicken? I obtained a Cuckoo maran chick this week that is quite sick and the person I got it from said she had been putting sulfur in the water and had been told to do that to help it. I've never heard of this before....

    No he didn't look anything like that.... I'm wondering if they are Black Rosecomb? The hen has white earlobes. the roo didn't but he looks an aweful lot like one down to the coloring and stance and feathers??? Thought maybe an austrolorp but there again the rosecomb didn't fit.

    Yeah they usually aren't out at night and I hear a coon at day is a sick on too but DNR told me that is a wives tale. He said if it's shortly before it starts getting dark or in the morning nah. I would watch them to be safe, but I'm sure they will be ok! Good boy Roger!
