    Sure hope a kombucha scoby doesn't kill 'em!

    Kombucha- I just use those glass "sun tea" jars with a little spigot at the bottom, so I can drain the jar down as I use it. I keep several jars, so that when one jar has fermented at room temperature I can refrigerate it and use the mother (or child...) in a second jar. I've never read before...
