Thank you for your help; however Mrs Rabbit passed away 1 week ago. I miss her terribly. It wasn't from the ear mites....I used Ivermectin and it cured it within 3 days.
Thank you kindly VkyVky. I will miss her terribly but I am happy she is no longer suffering or lonely. It broke my heart and I will have very fond memories of her and treasure them forever. Plus I have lots of pics!
Thanks Galanie....I did give her plain yogurt (once) a few days ago but it seemed like she was getting diarrhea. I hope she didn't die of anything I fed her....I tried to do everything right and furnish her with the vitamins she needed.
Woodland, Bear and Barr you all seem to agree and thank you for your responses. That's okay Barr to be paranoid in favor of helping the buns! I gave them their first dose yesterday and I will wait 10 days for the next one and then 10 days after that for the last one. When should I be...
Before reading your reply I boiled some barley, turkey crumbles, corn meal and let it cool. Later I gave her a tiny bit of plain yogurt mixed in her water. However when she pooped it looked more watery and white than usual. I have stopped giving her antibiotics except once a day. She is...

I gave mine Duramycin-10 and her wheezing is all gone. That's miraculous cause she was so wheezing bad she couldn't she couldn't breathe without lifting her head up so that air would go down her throat. Good luck with yours.
Thank you Schellie. Since my hen cannot eat on her own is there a mush concoction I could make that would give her her vitamins and make her where she is not listless? Actually she is not even my hen but I love her and have been taking care of her. I have no money to have her wormed or...
My hen was attacked 1 1/2 weeks ago at night (by what I don't know). Anyway her beak seems to be permanently open and I am having to feed her turkey crumbles/water and also Duramycin-10 in water with an eyedropper (and probably will the rest of her life). She had a VERY BAD wheezing but the...
Okay, I think I will try to get the paste w/Ivermectin (if I can find it). If not I will be forced to use drops.
My gosh it's sad to think I didn't notice anything building up in the poor baby's ears for 2 years. Once they're gone what should I look for to nip it in the bud right away?
I...
I'm sorry I still haven't had a chance to take another pic. Good news is that on the 16th her wheezing stopped. YAY! However she is continuing to be listless. I have cut back to giving her antibiotics once a day and the only thing I have to feed her is turkey crumbles and even though it...
Good info Aina and Barr! I definitely don't want to scare my bunny so I think I'll take her in and let the vet clean her and give me meds for her. I haven't noticed a smelly ear but then again I never noticed the mess in her ear until a little boy pointed it out today.
Any...
It appears my reply didn't post....I would love using baby oil...it's inexpensive and smells good. However I'm not sure if it would help now until I clear up what she already has. It is a HUGE build up. Thanks for the idea though!
OOPS, I SEE IT DID POST AFTER ALL. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO...
I wish I'd known about mites a long time ago. Baby oil sounds like something I would have liked to use....cheap and it smells good. Not sure it would work now with the huge build up in her ear(s).
That makes sense...if I don't get the right amount into my bunny then it won't work. Thanks for your help.
You don't know anything about chickens do you?
