We have coyotes and bobcats etc. I do not want to use the typical chain link dog run to enclose the coop and run. Is there something else that is aesthetically appealing to use? I would prefer not to build from scratch. Coop and run hold about 10 chickens. Thanks
Any suggestion how to make a waterer out of a bucket that i can hook up to my drip system. The drip system drips out as much as I want , so i can set it to fill a 5 gallon bucket. My waterer now always gets green in the summer time out here, i am looking for a new way.
I have a 3 gallon waterer that is white plastic with a red tray. It has a nice black screw top that allow you to hang it. The problem is the chickens stand on it and spill the water out till it's empty. They also get the tray very dirty, is there another waterer that you recommend?
I have a run made out of welded wire. The grid is 2x4 and I have chicken wire up to 4 feet from the bottom. The doves fly in the run and eat the scratch and hang out on top of the run a crap all over the place. How do i keep the run clean of dove crap??
My run is about 11x9 and I need a roof. Problem is the fence is only 5'. I would like to use the plastic fence and prop it up in the middle with a pole so I can walk into coop. Any other ideas?
TY
Well the fence is only 5 foot so i will not be able to walk into coop upright. I already have the fencing. Can I use that plastic fence for roof and put a post in middle of coop?
