Mine just started laying and she lays all over the run and sometimes in the nest box. I have the fake eggs and the whole thing too. I just
think she may not know yet when the egg is coming? Either way, Im just happy to have an egg!

This morning I decided to check the nest boxes before work, not really expecting anything. I opened the box, counted the plastic easter eggs and

Still no egg for me but i noticed after I came home from work that my BA's face was so red that it just can't be much longer!

It depends on the type of chickens you have! Some don't lay in the first year. Some are more sensitive to the heat too. Look up the breed either here or on Google.
