    nutritionally safe ?

    Chickens eat pretty much anything, I would try to limit as a snack though. My girls eat up my pygmy goat food driving him crazy but he runs and eats their chicken food, so I use the goat food mixed 40/60 with cracked corn to make a mix I throw on the ground as a snack. charlie

    3 day old chick has a sore on his bum

    When I got my chickies in april, I had one that was sealing over the area with dry poop. I used a washrag and warm water and held it to area to soften everything up, slight massage and clean area. I cleaned for three days. She turned out alright and sits in my lap every morning and afternoon...

    Who keeps a chair in or near the coop?

    We have a circle of four chairs that expanded from my original one chair. It went from my solitude to others also, it is relaxing to sit out and watch them. The special ones come and sit in my lap and eat from hands. They also tell me when I don't have anything in my hands.
