I've been watching the coop intenteviely today, and I think it's my 2yr old Barred Plymouth Rock aka Miss Speckles that lays the thinshelled egg. Does anybody know if BPRs have a genetic predisposition for this sorta thing?
I know this isn't excactly pertaining to rules and regs, but when I moved into my new neighbourhood with my chickens, when I introduced myself to my neighbors, I gave them a few eggs instead of cookies. So far we haven't had any complaints abt the roosters wakeup call at 9am sharp every morning.
