I bought mine from Beaktime.com and got a pretty good price. The chickens didn't know what to do with them at first but caught on pretty quickly. The have held up well and there have been no leaks.
These cups are for mid - full grown chickens and regulate by their drinking so there is no excess water to spill or evaporate.
These cups work well for younger chicks because they are always full to the brim so they can easy drink with no effort.

I tried to build one of these things and the cap does not hold tight so the water leaks when I turn it over. It looked like something that would be an easy build but I am having a hard time. The cup is tight in the lid and not leaking and the cup is not leaking but it leaks in between the cap...
