    You have a unique breed. They are heritage RIR, but Cackle's own high production variety.     If those are Production Reds then they are the darkest ones I've ever seen. I thought they might be RIR or Buckeyes. Heritage RIR's don't lay until much later I believe. As I understand it, any "production" laying breed should start laying from 18-22 weeks.
