I have 11 quail, one is 7 weeks, 6 are 4 weeks, and the rest are almost 2 weeks. Since I live in Florida with lots of sun and its warm... Will they still lay thru the fall and winter? Or will they still moult?
Prefer young chicks but want for personal breeding population bcoz my boys loooooove quail eggs :) Was giving serious consideration to sneaking chicks in the bator and putting one over on the DH rofl
Edited to add: I don't mind having more than that if someone wants to sell in larger amounts...
Any one near Daytona Beach / Palm coast have quail chicks for sale? Need d at least 5 female and 2 male. Looking for coturnix, not button :) willing to drive to meet / pick them up
Someone said I should have kept the temp at 99.5 bcoz it is a forced air bator? Did I fry the eggs with that 1 degree?? My chicken eggs haven't done much the last few times either. Tried wet and dry hatch methods. Just very discouraging to wait and wait and get nothing LOL especially after...
I have coturnix quail eggs in my incubator now... Have kept temp at 100.5 and humidity at 35%. I candled today... First time I have candled and I am not seeing any development :( It is day 13 today too. So frustrated! (Not to mention disappointed!
