My grand uncle just asked me for more hens.... he said he has way to many roos... I'm sitting over here with 5 roos and 4 hens (don't worry only one roo is with the hens everyone else are caged in a run... Any tips? Would Roo's sell well in a co-op? I don't kill my birds so...

She hatched, more would of too... Sadly my 4 week olds are rejecting her Grrrrrrrrrr! Only my roosters tho... Well my 2 known Roos and a unknown (does this mean he's a roo to?) Everyone else ingnored her...(hopefully my 2 unknowns are hens...)

One hatched :( but my lamp went out 5 days to hatch for many hours... Three more eggs rocked and rolled but passed in their shells :hit 12 out of the 15 actually developed until the bulb died.... I expected 10 chicks to hatch, but then as I said the bulb was out for several hours...

It's cute, I may try to get it to spread! (I raise quail as pets eggs are a bonus so why not have some fun?)

Do I have a new version of the wild colored quail??? (First pic is of normal chick, second pic is of new chick) She has beautiful gray on her wings, turning into the normal color! She is stunning next to my other chicks!!!

Quail can be hatched from under a lamp!!! One of my eggs have hatched, even tho they lost heat for at least 6 hours!!!! Hoping for more!
