    That is the bumblefoot scab where the cut is. Have you looked at the pictures in the links? They usually show that same spot. Inside the foot pad when one performs surgery and cuts around the scab, there will be some pus or solidified pus that looks like a cheese kernel that can be squeezed out.

    Yes the right foot is typical of bumblefoot. They don't always need to have surgery performed. You may want to treat it for awhile with epsom salt foot soaks, or tricide neo. I have several with it from all of the sharp rocks around my yard. I don't usually do surgery unless the bird is limping...
