Thank you everyone. I am not a breeder but he seems to be pretty handsome to me. And of course he was my first to crow of all of my rare breed chickens i got this spring...and he is pretty good at it too haha.

I sure hope so. Luckily i can keep roosters where i am but out of my 21 different chicks a few females would be nice.

Those are actually all the same bird in the photos. Lighting was coming through the window so thats probably why they look so different. But it definatly has more color on it than the other one i have.

So what are your thoughts on male or female...this is stumping me because i have one other that is practically all white (super pale yellow) still. This one has more buff but i am still hesitant. Thanks!

I hope so! My darker one isnt quite as dark as yours but you cam definatley see more buff color coming in on it now. I am still crossing my fingers i have a boy and a girl! Where are yours from Stephwind?
