For lockdown is 98 degrees too chilly? My cabinet bator hatching area is about that temp. I have another incubator I can use for lockdown if that is too cold.
The middle is cut out with hardware cloth in the bottom. The heating pad could work. I have one that should work great. I'll have to make some adjustments and see what works best.
I built a cabinet incubator and my plan was to have the drawer up top be the Hatcher. But the temperature is usually about 93 degrees. How could I raise that temperature in the drawer without raising the temperature around the eggs in the turner? I'm assuming 93 degrees is too cold for them.
I forgot to add that I candled at day 7 and have 6 out of 11 eggs developing nicely. Isbars and chocolate green eggers from @KYTinpusher
I also put 4 OE eggs under my silkie who has gone broody. This is her first time, but she's been sitting for 2 weeks basically now. I'm sure she'll do great!
Last minute joiner! Set my eggs I received from @KYTinpusher. Some beautiful isbar eggs, 2 black Ameraucanas and some from a chocolate green egger project!
