Isn't it fun to watch them in the run??
That's one heck of a nice run...good job!
That latch, good that it can be locked with padlock... or a carabineer......
BUT.....it can TRAP you in the run!!
I'd suggest changing it out to something that doesn't automatically latch and put a screen door...
Get it functional, move the birds out, take a few days of rest, then ......
....building withdrawals will hit and you'll find yourself out there tweaking for functionality and applying aesthetics.
Trees are just barely budding up here....but you're quite a ways south of Michigan.
Time will tell how the water flows around the coop....took awhile before the chooks killed all the sod.
Where are you located to have that much leafage so early?
You may want to do some trenching to divert run off from going under the coop.
Once the grass is gone it can make a nasty, stinky mucky mess and erosion issues around your posts.
Unless maybe you plan on deep litter in that area, then...
Oh yeah, high time for them to be out of your house and into theirs!
Continuing to work on the coop once they are in there will be good for them,
they'll get used to you being around.
