Yeah, its a process. If you do want to set eggs under her, then remove eggs on a daily basis and then set them once she has been all night in the nest for 2-3 nights (and days). If you don't want to hatch chicks, then breaking her broodiness once she has stopped laying is a good way forward IMO...
