You might consider Betadine (iodine/povidone) just dilute per instructions. Peroxide is excellent stuff, but can damage healthy tissue (hold some inside one cheek for a few minutes it starts to eat away at the mucosa), as well as killing the bad guys. I'm not sure if this would be relevant...
