Update on my Chick. This morning the crop is smaller and much firmer. I can feel pebbles in the crop. I would say they are probably the grit. She is active and drinking water but not touching the yogurt. I gave her a few moistened crumbles. She is pooping. After looking at her and the...

The swelling is about half the size this morning. Should I continue to keep her off of feed? She doesn't seem to be eating the yogurt. Thank you.

I have uloade a picture. Does it take a while for them to start showing up or do I need to do something after it is uploaded? I will check her in the morning and hopefully she will not look so swollen. This is not just a little enlarged its the a bit smaller than a baseball bulge.

Have 3 week old chicks and one has an enlarged neck. I have been feeding chicken starter food, adding a bit of grit and plenty of water. Does anyone know what I could do to help this chick? New to chickens and the site. Thank you, Naniki
