Withdrawal - I think is no less than 2 weeks, and I think I saw a post from a vet that contacted FARAD, and that might have said 4 weeks, maybe even 6 weeks? I'll see if I can find that.
If you are going to use Elector it's probably okay to use 2 teaspoons per gallon. That's a little more than 0.1% final concentration, but not much more.
1 ml of 44.2% Elector has 442 mg spinosad per ml.
1 ml of 0.5% garden concentrate has 5 mg per ml.
Elector directions say 3 ounces per 10 gallons, yes?
3 ounces per 10 gallons = 88.7 ml
88.7 ml / 10 gallons = 8.87 ml per 1 gallon
If something is 44.2% spinosad that means that one ml = 442 mg...
@wytecap ,
I had to go re-read the thread, and this post is where I posted indo that has the mixing instructions for Elector: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/egg-withdrawal-period-for-mite-treatment.1125649/#post-17494457
Let me thank you for taking the time to do the math and coming...
Elector (44.2% spinosad) is 3 ounces per 10 gallons, or ~8.9 ml per gallon.
If you're going to use the 0.5% concentrate it's 757 ml concentrate to 3028 ml of water.
