So far with my Indian Runners, 4 have hatched wee.gif and 1 has externally pipped last night. I had to help a malpositioned duckling out, which had externally pipped 48 ago and it's doing really well!
I'll post pics later once I move them to the brooder. :)
External, there are two more which I think have pipped internally. Anouther one just hatched! :weee
Sorry not the best photo, but my iPads camera is terrible. I'll take some better pics when they fluff up.
What humidity do you aim for? I run mine at 52% and 65% at lockdown but I suppose my climate is very wet- it rains almost constantly here in the Lake District. :(
How's the chick doing? I always find it nerve racking when you have to assist hatch them. That part of the reason why I only really hatch ducks- I always had terrible hatches with chickens and loads of problems and cockerels, but using the same meathod with ducks I've had a 100% hatch rate so far.
No, I bought them off eBay. I seem to be having good luck with eBay eggs- last hatch with them I got 6/6. :)
The Welsh Harlequins in my other incubator are from my ducks :) (although they're hatching in November)
