Glenda Heywood I appreciate what Ridgerunner has posted as it does work I had cochin bantam broody hens and It was as I described that worked for me as to the age they were new hatched chicks that another hen did not want. Glenda Heywood When ever you introduce chicks to a Hen do this FIRST wait till dark of night and then you can take a lantern to use for light away from the hen. Do not have the light on the hen or chicks. HAVE THE HEN AND CHICKS AWAY FROM OTHER CHICKENS ALONE. FIRST BESURE AND TAKE YOUR HAND...- Glenda Heywoodo
