    Nice! Re: windblock: Two pallets in a narrow A-frame, facing appropriately and possibly covered with repurposed feedbags! Say! How much warmer do you think the plastic wrap (LOL) keeps the run compared to outdoor temp? Any issues with ventilation?

    lol it took mine three days to venture out in the snow...boy were they miffed when they first saw it, pouting would be a good description. Then eventually they all wandered out of the run and sat in trees or ran around in the snow. They are figuring it out! Other issue of course with dog door...

    I dont know if they would figure out the flap myself, that is what I am wondering. As long as straw is laid down or the run is covered, I think they would be fine re: the snow! covered run (the white stuff inside is some shredded paper) And if the flap is a problem, maybe a vertically...

    What a great thought and no I haven't but will be waiting to hear from others! My small dogs have one and it really works to prevent cold air coming in and they love to use it. In fact, one of them SITS in it and hogs it!
