I am surprised at his size. I don't know if you can tell how much larger he is than the other two. Maybe they are pullets. I'm going to set 3 more Cochin Brahma mix eggs on the 21st . The almanac says they will be healthier, bigger and pullets will lay more eggs.

If the air cells are not in the large end of the eggs they most likely won't hatch at all. I candle at 10 and lock down. The more you handle the greater the risk of killing the chicks in my opinion. I wear sterile gloves when I candle and I sanitize the flashlight I use to protect from...

Here in Arkansas in winter mine is 20-22% with no water at all. Right now it's running at 23 %.air cells right where they should be.

Had the first one hatch about 10 minutes ago. Must be the sex links because it's black, White and yellow. My incubstion 1-18 22-25% humidity 18-22 75% humidity. Put in 4 eggs 1 hatch so far two more pipped and chripping. Can't see the last one well enough to say.
