    And Sunflower makes the strangest sounds...I gave them each a cherry tomato this morning, and she was the slowest to eat hers, so of course others tried to get it from her...this is her making that sound....

    Oh how lovely!! Here's Sunflower at 16 weeks, she's also really sweet. Not as many spots yet...shes a comical little character.

    Oh, I see.... Well did you find anyone to take him? Here's mine at almost 5 weeks. I named her Sunflower, and comparing to your pics am thinking it's a pullet: I moved all the chicks out to the coop yesterday ....I waited for days of heavy rain to end so I could go check on them often...

    Yes, there's another night in the 30's coming this weekend here, if they don't change the forecast. With this in mind I found this old forum about cold hardening chicks and I think after reading this, I'm going to stick to my plan and move mine out on Monday...

    Your Pearl is definitely a pearl........ this is the d'uccle the day i went to the hatchery...i entered it in the cute baby contest.... Here they are 2 days ago, the 2 bantams w one of the leghorns. All the leghorns look alike: they still are all nice to each other. I read so many stories...

    definitely a contrast in the D'Uccles.....we shall see! I hope one of my bantams is a cockerel. But I hope my D'Uccle is a pullet. 'She' really likes my attention. I've named her Paisley. 2 weeks old today.

    I only have 2 bantam chicks, the Mille and a silver Sebright. I went to the nearby hatchery to get 4 brown leghorn chicks to eventually replace my older hens---- and the banties were an impulse buy.... So the 6 of them were all hatched that same day, on Monday and have been together since...

    Hi fllodthelast, I am following your thread to see how they turn out. Are Grace and Hope the same breed? Different breeds mature differently. I look up 'what gender' threads for my breeds and compare pics....How does your Mille look at this age? I do have one of those, less than a week...
