The eggs laying down look pretty good. Some of the greens look a tad big for day 7. It probably wouldn't hurt to run 35%-40%. But I wouldn't push it over that at this point.

Excellent choice! I love my Hovabator. I do use the rubber shelf liner on the bottom of mine because it cushions the eggs and it's better for little chicken feet when they hatch. I get it at the dollar store. I hand turn as well. I can add a pic of the liner I use so you know what I am talking...

To start with thermometers and a hygrometer is the important thing. What kind of incubator did you get? Does it have an automatic turner or are you hand turning?
