    ok, thanks! I am pretty sure its ok too! My 1 year old barred rock had been acting strange a couple weeks ago, then she laid a soft shelled egg the next day. It is laying hard shelled eggs now and its really active. so i think there is nothing to worry about.

    When one of my pullets laid their first egg it was really soft shelled and mushy. That is normal right?

    I had bought my easter egger as a 5 month old pullet. She started laying a 6 months of age but no green eggs, they are creamed colored. Can I see a pic of your easter egger?
