I used to have over 60 adult chickens 12 adult ducks, geese, Turkey's a herd of goats and a donkey where we used to live in So. Nevada. Then we moved out of state and I sold or placed everybody in new homes...then shortly after, I learned that I could have up to 6 adult birds where I live,,,just...
LOL, I have I have 23 chicks
Plus

1 SL Wyandotte older pullet
1 SL polish older pullet
1 pearl white leghorn hen
5 broilers (Cornish X)
1 adult female Muscovy duck

And I'm only legally allowed to have 6 adult chickens on my property...shhhhh...
From the research I've done the buff laced can be very personable and sweet if handled often.
On another note...my 8 white cap black & 4 silver laced chicks are crazy flighty...even though they are all handled and loved on daily...
They average about 190-200 ish eggs a year, but unless handled constantly as babies and teens and basically their whole life, they are kind of flighty and nervous
