A grow and starter mix from the local feed and seed plus since I have adult ladies I also have oyster shell. A handful of seed once a week. Nightly, vegetable shavings from our food, grapes, apples, brown rice, scrambled eggs, tomatoes etc. Rotate with the fresh stuff.
Is there another way to tell? Usually all their feathers are out straight. Not sure why they had their tails tucked in it may have been the fact that I was in their coop lol
