    The coop is 10.5 by 8 feet. The roost is approx. 19 or 20 feet across. I will post pictures in a bit.

    They are buff Orpingtons, australorps, Easter eggers, barred rocks, specked sussex, and a couple d'uccle bantams (which do great getting up on the roost in their own.) The Easter eggers and the female barred rocks do great getting up on their own.

    That's a good idea! The only problem is that I don't know how I would place the cage on the roost without the cage fallowing off.

    It is usually in the 60's at night around here, so I don't think they are cold. I thought about adding lower roosts, but I have seen them fly up that high and I have boxes for them to get closer up to the roost. It is very odd.
