    If you get a chance, get some Corona Ointment for horses. Keep a little dabbed on her head. It will heal just fine. Keep a watch on her eyes to make sure they don't get stuck shut. Just wipe with warm water.You did a FANTASTIC job with her! Congrats!

    Yep, like Mainchick says, do the neosporin thing a while longer. For a cheaper ointment, stop by co-op or a feed store that has horse supplies and buy some "Corona Ointment" for horses. Anytime you get a skinned chicken, just smear some on the cut after cleaning it. Congrats, you did well!

    Just keep wiping her eyes to keep them from getting infected. Wipe each one with a soft cloth or cotton ball softly until you can see it is clean of any crust or infection. I use "Clear Eyes" from the eye section at wal-mart pharmacy on my fowl. Mix a little milk with bread, then pour some chick...

    Keep her head with medicine mentioned above on it and make sure she gets water and soft feed for a few days. Wipe her eyes open with warm water on a soft cloth or cotton a couple times a day and your going to be surprised how fast she heals. I have one rooster that had his whole skull exposed...
