I have ordered several times thru the years from MM and twice I had demons from hell in the form of a polish rooster. I don't know if I was just unlucky twice or if they just have some mean strains. All of the other birds from them were pleasant and weren't destined to the stew pot.
I have a question on dorkings.
What size of egg are you getting, what color, how many per week?
I really don't like the SG color of the dorking, but think the red and whites are nice looking birds.

I was wondering how the dorkings do in cold weather. I live in southern illinois but we are routinely in teens and single digits at night during the winter. Do their combs have issues or freezer burn???
