I preserved some EE eggs. I took a small screwdriver and put a hole in each end and blew the egg out then I rinsed the shell out and set them up to dry. I want to make an Easter egg tree. :)

I bought mine from Murray McMurray hatchery but I knew that they would be Easter Eggers. Yours probably are too. Araucanas and Ameraucanas are not easy to get hold of.

One of my Buff Brahma bantams laid first egg today! Awesome She is 23 weeks and 3 days old. 5 - 6 months seems to be the average age for bantams to start laying. But there are always exceptions!

I have two porcelain bantams, and a game bantam pullet in a pen together. I got a white egg from their nest twice last week. But today the egg from their nest is brown. So I think that one of the two porcelain started laying because game bantams lay white eggs and porcelain brown.

My second EE egg was bigger than the first. I doubt that they will get any bigger, but maybe yours will being a larger EE.
