Thanks. I barely was able to get the cat because I was too close. Had the telephoto lens on from taking the sun pictures. The next picture was him leaping off as he headed for me to demand attention like he does every time I look at him.

The sun came out from behind the clouds for a few minutes. This goes with last night's moon picture. As you can see, the sky is just on fire.

Ok. It took a half hour of waiting for a thin enough patch in the smoke to even see the moon well, but I got it. The sun was this color in the afternoon as well.
