A flat black comb doesn't sound single or like it belongs on an Orpington. Maybe an Orpington mix. My bet is that her father was a Sumatra and the mother was a heavy breed like Orpington or Plymouth Rock but we'll never know for sure.- JedJackson

Mixed. An Orpington would have a single comb and it would be red, not dark. A Wyandotte would have yellow legs and the comb wouldn't be dark.- JedJackson
