I got zero eggs yesterday, the hens are plotting against me and dumping eggs off in the broody nesting box. I gave up trying to break her, if she wants to raise little Seramas into winter let her suffer for it! I might have to bring her inside with her chicks by the time they hatch.

Thats going on now with my older birds.. however most of my layers are in their first year so many will avoid a molt this fall. I tend to sell them before they get a year old and hatch out every 3 weeks to replenish them. Every 3 weeks I tend to get new layers with their pullet eggs.
