24 today. Collected 645 for January from 32 layers. A couple girls are getting up in age and aren't expected to produce anymore. They are just pets now.
Friday was better. 21 eggs. Stayed closer to home and realized the 3 adolescent roosters may be the problem. They are causing havoc with the hens. May be time for chicken and sausage gumbo!
Only 18 yesterday from 30 layers It got up to 77 degrees and mostly sunny. Over 10 hours of daylight, so weather wasn't a factor.

It got all the way down to 24 here yesterday but the girls still provided 24 eggs. All the top of the water froze but I was able to chop up the ice. I don't see how you people live like this! I'm freezing but the birds seem perfectly content. It ain't suppose to get this cold down here. Oh well...
We finally got a good set of eggs yesterday. 27 out of 30 layers. Haven't got more than 23 the last several weeks. It was 81 degrees and a little rainy.
